La Nostra Storia
Our Story
Three generations of the Romano family have been making pizza the same way — by hand, with love, and with ingredients that would make Nonna proud.
When Giuseppe Romano arrived in New York in 1987, he carried two things: his mother's pizza dough recipe and an unshakeable belief that great food brings people together. Thirty-seven years later, that same recipe — 72-hour slow-fermented dough, San Marzano tomatoes crushed by hand, fresh mozzarella pulled daily — is still the heart of everything we do.
Today, his children Marco and Sofia carry on the tradition, blending old-world technique with a neighborhood warmth that makes every guest feel like family. Whether you're grabbing a quick slice or sitting down for a full meal, you're part of the Bella Napoli story.
